THIS SHOW ONLY IN THE ORIGINAL ENGLISH VERSION
This all-embracing musical highlights the monumental comic and musical talents of Thomas 'Fats' Waller. 'Fats' was the soul of Harlem in the 30's - the Golden Age of places like the Cotton Club, of honky tonk dives along Lenox Avenue, of stride piano players and that new beat, swing! The score includes such favourites as Two Sleepy People, Honeysuckle Rose, Your Feet's Too Big, Mean To Me and, of course, the famous title song. Without in any sense being a literal biography of either the man or the age, Ain't Misbehavin' magically invokes the joy and laughter of a true American original. |
